Circulation pumps (Pool pumps)
These pumps, often referred to as pool pumps since they are commonly used for swimming pools because of their high resistance to chemical additives, cover a wide range of types and sizes.
Most types have an integral pre-filter by means of a simple lift out basket and are usually of very highly corrosion resistant thermo-plastic construction making them idea for use in aquaculture.
Because they are a very commonly used pump, and therefore produced in great quantities, they also have the advantage of being very cost competitive in cost compared with certain other types of alternative pumps.
